OVERVIEW

With the DRV-A601W dashcam and KCA-R200 rearview internal window camera, instantly view the front and rear high-quality footage you have captured on the dashcam's 3" full-colour LCD screen without any loss of resolution. Other features include HDR - High Dynamic Range reduces dark & light contrasts. 3-Axis G-Sensor that detects outside force, and GPS adds location data.

The rearview camera is mounted inside the vehicle's rear window and uses an 8-meter connecting cable to the dashcam. This camera's 180° rotational lens gives you total flexibility and provides an optimum view from various rear window angles. Also, it features a wide-viewing angle lens with a horizontal angle of +/- 129°, a vertical +/- 66°, and a diagonal 161°. The recording range at the vehicle's rear expands in all directions to ensure nothing escapes the footage.

When installed, the hardwire kit supplied adds Smart Parking Mode. Then, when your vehicle is parked, the Smart Parking Mode becomes active, shutting down everything except the G-Sensor to save power. If your car is then subjected to a physical impact. Your dashcam stores the footage leading up to and after the incident. If the G-sensor detects other impacts during this recording, it will extend the recording time by 30 seconds until there are no more vibrations. The dashcam will then return to sleep mode (Smart Parking Mode).

Amazing

Good Quality

This is the first expensive dash cam I've bought, and as soon as it arrives you can see you get what you pay for! Really good quality, but then I'd expect nothing less from Kenwood. I'm still using a Kenwood stereo system from 32 years ago, and it still works and sounds better than modern ones friends have bought!

So far so good!

The optional install kit is perfect with spares should you want to move windscreen sticky to another car, the kit allows you to plug into existing fuse with piggyback adapter, so, all easily removed too. Kit comes with SD card, so nothing extra needed to complete install. Camera operates, the app would have been nice to have been bluetooth based rather than a wireless ethernet. Overall, very happy with kit!

Brilliant Piece Of Kit

Fitted to a 2020 Kia Sportage in around 40 minutes including fitting the rear camera and hardwire kit. Excellent quality recordings. Highly recommended if you want a decent Dash Cam.
